Slideshare

I stumbled upon "Slideshare" while working on assignments for my Web 2.0 class.  I have never seen this service before and it kind of makes me realize how fast things can change in the Internet world.  It has been a practice of mine to search the web to see what other teacher's are doing in my field.  I have found many good ideas to enhance my teaching from the Internet.  YouTube, google, and the blog world can be a great resource to classroom teachers.  After hanging out on the "Slideshare" website, looking at presentations others have created, I have found multiple sources for future classroom ideas.  I was even able to email one of them to myself so that I won't forget the valuable information gained.

I definitely feel there is a lot of potential here for my professional learning network.  Other possibilities may include a way for me to post some of my presentations so students can access them online.  I will have to spend more time on "Slideshare" to realize other capabilities of the service.  This service could definitely have possibilities for helping me generate classroom ideas and assisting students with my posted presentations.
